Short-Term Development Plan

1. Strengthen students’ foreign-language proficiency by offering more courses taught in English.
2. Regularly review and revise the department’s curriculum, offer practical courses, and assist students in obtaining professional certifications.
3. Encourage students to participate in exchange programs at partner universities to broaden their international perspectives and enhance their language skills.
4. Establish the Finance and Insurance Program and the Business and Finance Program, and plan to introduce additional interdisciplinary programs.

Medium-Term Development Plan

1. Strengthen talent development and seek internship opportunities in the industry.
2. Recruit, on an annual basis, more faculty members with doctoral degrees specializing in finance, strong publication potential, and the ability to teach in English.
3. Encourage faculty members to adopt diverse teaching methods.

Long-Term Development Plan

1. Collaborate with the Cross-Strait Financial Research Center to analyze financial developments and trends across the Taiwan Strait.
2. Work with faculty members from relevant departments and institutes both within and outside the university to conduct interdisciplinary academic research.
3. Actively pursue industry–government–university collaboration projects.
